MHK2 wall thermostat — a familiar wall-mounted control for people who want a thermostat, not a remote. Reads the temperature where you live instead of at the unit, and works with the kumo cloud® app.
kumo cloud® app — every zone from your phone, anywhere. Schedules, geofencing, freeze-protection alerts, and a running view of what each zone is doing. Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. We set it up on your phone at commissioning.

Questions about controls units
Is the app required?
No. Every unit works fully from its remote. The app is an add-on most people want once they've used it.
Does it need Wi-Fi?
Yes, a home Wi-Fi network. The adapter is installed inside each indoor unit.
Can I get an alert if the camp drops below 40°F?
Yes — kumo cloud® sends temperature alerts, which is the main reason seasonal homeowners on Lake George and Schroon Lake use it.
Can multiple people control it?
Yes, share the account across family members' phones.
Does the wall thermostat replace the remote?
It can. The MHK2 mounts where a normal thermostat would and controls that zone; the remote still works alongside it.
What if the internet goes down?
The units keep running on their last settings and the remotes and wall thermostat still work — only remote app access pauses.
