Can I leave the heat pump running all winter in an empty camp?
Yes — set it to 50°F, and the Comfort App alerts you if it can't hold that. It draws far less than baseboard on 'low' and there's no propane tank to run dry.
Does a heat pump work on the north shore where it gets colder?

What if the power goes out?

I have baseboard electric heat. Is it worth switching?

Can you install in a log home or a camp with no drywall?
Yes. Wall units mount to log and post-and-beam walls with the right anchors; line sets route on the exterior in painted line-hide.
Is the outdoor unit OK on the lakefront?
Yes, mounted above the snow line and out of spray. We use wall brackets where grade or flooding is a concern.
