About You

You are an experienced Residential HVAC Installer with the skills and motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment. You have the ability to install HVAC systems such as furnaces, condensers, air handlers, and ductless mini-splits with confidence and minimal supervision.

You’ll primarily work from our Cambridge, NY headquarters and travel to customers’ homes to perform installations and provide exceptional service. You are eager to learn, retain knowledge, and grow in your role. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll educate and assist customers with technical issues, solutions, and available options.

While you already bring experience and professionalism to the table, you understand the value of ongoing training and coaching to consistently grow and improve in your role.

You have the opportunity to earn over $55,000 annually, with additional potential through commission and performance incentives.

Responsibilities

As a Residential HVAC Installer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing Mitsubishi heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductless mini-splits, and full HVAC systems to company standards.
  • Installing copper line sets, gas lines, wiring, venting, and drain lines with precision.
  • Building return stands and duct plenums, as well as installing complete duct systems.
  • Performing scheduled duct repairs and ensuring all work meets safety and quality guidelines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the work site and in company vehicles.
  • Completing installation checklists, submitting pictures and paperwork via our CRM software.
  • Collecting customer signatures and payments upon job completion.

Requirements for Hire

To join our team, you must:

  • Have no criminal convictions and pass a background check.
  • Be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds solo.
  • Be comfortable working in tight spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to invest in tools and training to grow your skills.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Have the ability to follow written and verbal directions and safety guidelines.
  • Possess a valid NY Driver’s License with a clean record.
  • Own reliable transportation and have a working cell phone with internet access.
